Spaghetti Bolognese<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

  • 400g spaghetti<\/li>\n
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil<\/li>\n
  • 1 onion, finely chopped<\/li>\n
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed<\/li>\n
  • 500g ground beef<\/li>\n
  • 800g canned diced tomatoes<\/li>\n
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste<\/li>\n
  • 1 cup beef stock<\/li>\n
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano<\/li>\n
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil<\/li>\n
  • Salt and pepper, to taste<\/li>\n
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, to serve<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n

    Instructions<\/h2>\n

    1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.<\/li>\n
    2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n
    3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.<\/li>\n
    4. Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, beef stock, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 20 minutes until the sauce has thickened.<\/li>\n
    5. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the bolognese sauce. Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/section>\n
