Lamb Kofta
Ingredients
- 500g ground lamb
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to a medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, coriander, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer into a long sausage shape. If you don’t have skewers, you can simply shape the mixture into patties.
- Brush the koftas with olive oil and place them on the preheated grill.
- Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are nicely browned on all sides and cooked through.
- Remove from grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
