Chicken Fajitas

A delicious and easy to make Chicken Fajitas recipe, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.


  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • Optional for serving: grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, tomato


  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken slices, and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to turn golden. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until they are slightly soft.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. Add the salt, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, and paprika. Stir well to combine.
  5. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Warm the flour tortillas according to the package instructions.
  7. Spoon the chicken and vegetable mixture evenly among the tortillas. Top with your choice of grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, and tomato, if desired.
