Experience the flavors of Argentina with this simple and delicious grilled steak recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds of flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of coarse kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup of fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and oregano.
  3. Rub the mixture onto both sides of the steak, making sure it is well coated.
  4. Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer depending on your desired level of doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. While the steak is resting, prepare the chimichurri sauce by mixing together parsley, red wine vinegar, 1/3 cup of olive oil, and lime juice in a bowl.
  7. Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.
  8. Serve immediately with the chimichurri sauce drizzled over the top.
